The Corsa E, from 2014 to 2019, is built on GM underpinnings. Simple mechanicals, inexpensive servicing, but dated equipment.
The Corsa F, from 2019, is technically a 208: same platform, same PureTech and BlueHDi engines, same EAT automatic gearbox. The electric Corsa-e is the equivalent of the e-208.
At equal budget, always compare a Corsa F with a 208: the price difference is rarely justified by anything but the badge.
On a Corsa F with a PureTech engine, strict adherence to the wet cambelt intervals is the central point: insist on the invoice.
On a Corsa E, check the availability and cost of model-specific parts before committing.
On a Corsa-e, ask for a state-of-health diagnosis of the battery.
On a strictly urban car, check the clutch and the battery rather than the odometer.
A first car, daily urban use or a second car, on a tight budget.
